JUBU reinforced inputshaft V6
The reinforced JUBU input shaft is a reinforced,1:1 replacement for the OEM input shaft of the 6-speed H-shift manual transmission (which is no longer available from Toyota).
The input shafts in manual Lotus V6 models tend to break close the clutch gearing caused by insufficient hardening and lack of material quality for the plug-in gearing of the fixed gear wheels on the input shaft.
Toyota can hardly be blamed for this, as the gearbox was developed for a Toyota diesel model and designed for 350-400NM of torque. It is no wonder that these gearboxes collapse when they are driven on the race track with more than 500 Nm in some cases.
The reinforced JUBU input shaft solves this problem permanently. It is made of high-strength special steel and has been tested with torques of +700 Nm.
