Damper service Öhlins, Nitron
First-class performance requires a perfect setup – and regular maintenance.
A shock absorber operates at the absolute forefront of vehicle dynamics. It is exposed to immense thermal and mechanical stresses, ensuring your vehicle maintains maximum grip even at the limit.
To meet the different demands of road and track, we rely on a differentiated suspension strategy: While Öhlins serves as the undisputed premium benchmark with state-of-the-art damping technology and uncompromising motorsport precision, Nitron covers the upper mid-range segment as a solid, visually appealing all-rounder with a strong price-performance ratio. Regardless of which system is fitted to your vehicle: A professional service is essential to permanently maintain full damping performance, feedback, and driving stability.
Why regular servicing pays off!
A well-maintained suspension is not just a matter of lap times, but also a smart investment:
-
Long-term savings: Timely replacement of wear parts and damper oil prevents irreversible consequential damage to expensive main components (e.g. piston rods, bodies, or valves). Regular servicing effectively protects you from a costly complete replacement.
-
Full performance & safety: Fresh oil and new seals ensure consistent damping behavior without fading or performance loss – whether on country roads or under heavy track use.
-
Preserving your setup's value: You maintain the function and longevity of your suspension components for many years to come.
What is included in the service?
The overhaul service includes all labor as well as the standard replacement of necessary wear parts:
-
Full disassembly and visual/mechanical inspection of all components
-
Replacement of all relevant seals and O-rings
-
Professional refilling with fresh high-performance damper oil under vacuum
-
Dynamic testing and tuning on the dyno (Öhlins as well as Nitron 2-Way / 3-Way)
Note: Severely damaged or exceptionally worn components that fall outside the standard scope will be charged separately after prior consultation and a cost estimate.
