JUBU Carbon door
The JUBU carbon door is ultra lightweight, but still very stiff and stable. It is made from a mix of carbon and aramid-fibers - this allows a very low weight, but also a very good stability and protection from penetration of sharp objects.
The focus of this product is to be a functional and affordable lightweight part, so we produce our doors by applying the carbon injection method. This method can cause minimal optical imperfections of the carbon fabric layers on the edges and beads of the door (only optical with no effect on the functionality). For highest aestethical requirements, we recommend to paint this sections of the door. Major flat areas of the outer surface are suitable for a visible-carbon look.
We ship the door with a semi-gloss surface (bare, out of the mold, uncoated). A transparent and UV-resistant high-glossy paintwork optionally be applied ex works. The door fits plug & play for Elise S2, Elise S3, Exige S2 and Exige S3. The mounting-rails for the side window (not included) can be switched from the oem-door to the JUBU carbon door.
