JUBU Carbon Hardtop
The JUBU carbon hardtop is ultra-lightweight bus also very stiff and stable. It is made of a mix of carbon and kevlar fibres. This leads to a very low weight but also to a very high stiffness and a very good passenger safety (e. g. kevlar fibres are also used for bulletproof vests).
For this product, we've set our focus on a functional and affordable lightweight construction, this is why we use the carbon injection process. By using this technique, minimal displacements of the fibres may occur in the folds and beads of the part. This is no shortcoming concerning functionality, but if you want to reach highest aesthetical approches, we recommend to paint this spots. The nearly flat surfaces (for example the outside surface of the hardtop) come in a beautiful visible-carbon quality (pls. check pictures).
We ship the hardtop out-of-the-mold without any paint or sealing, clean for an individual finish. Transparent high-glossy or matte finish is available via options.
The hardtop can be installed Plug & Play without any further adaptations
