JUBU CNC headwork Rover k-series
JUBU CNC cylinder head machining for the Rover K series involves special, flow-optimised CNC machining of the cylinder head's intake and exhaust ports. The valve seats are widened in diameter and a special contour is cut. We also renew the valve guides and replace the original sintered guides with high-quality ones made from a bronze/copper alloy using CNC machines. In most cases, the original valve guides are already worn.
The channel geometry of the JUBU CNC cylinder head machining was developed using a computer model (CFT) and then optimised on the flow bench. A cylinder head reworked by JUBU has better flow values than a VVC cylinder head already equipped with larger valves ex works and thus provides a very good basis for almost all performance enhancements in the Rover K engine.

- When replacing the cylinder head, we recommend using a multi-layer upgrade cylinder head gasket with reinforced aluminium counter plate.
Scope of delivery
- JUBU CNC machining of the intake and exhaust ports
- Replacement of the original valve guides with upgraded valve guides in motorsport quality (bronze/copper alloy)
- JUBU special contour cutting and adjustment to seat ring diameter (standard valve diameter)

We also offer JUBU CNC cylinder heads as replacements – in this case, a deposit of € 400 is required. Once we have received your original cylinder head, we will refund the € 400 deposit.
Tech tip: We ask that you give the cylinder head a rough pre-clean, as otherwise there may be problems with the parcel service due to oil leakage. We also recommend packing the cylinder head in a large plastic bag.
