The JUBU upgrade short block (complete & pre-assembled) for the Toyota/Lotus 2GR-FE V6 engine forms a solid basis for any high-performance application.

It consists of either a refurbished or brand new OEM short block and an OEM crankshaft that is either refurbished or new. All other JUBU or Toyota original parts are new. (See product details)

The upgrade short block was developed for outputs of up to 900 hp and has been extensively tested on the test bench, race track and road.

Even if the short block needs to be replaced in engines with standard performance (e.g. after engine damage), we recommend switching to the upgrade short block, as it eliminates known weak points of some OEM short block components (OEM pistons, OEM connecting rods).

Scope of delivery and services

• 1 pcs brand new Lotus/Toyota OEM 2GR-FE engine block incl. crankshaft or refurbished OEM Toyota/Lotus engine block and crankshaft (optional)
• 1 set JUBU steel connecting rods 2GR-FE (details) including connecting rod bolts
• 1 set JUBU forged pistons (details) including piston rings, piston pins and clips
• 1 set (12 half shells) JUBU upgrade connecting rod bearings with special coating (details)
• 1 set of main bearings OEM Toyota
• 1 set of main bearing bolts OEM Toyota
• 2 crankshaft oil seals (pulley and flywheel side)
• Pre-assembly of all components in the short block (ready for further installation)

NOTE: The JUBU upgrade short block is supplied without an oil pump.The parts are always cleaned prior to installation. However, please note that the components may become contaminated during shipping/packaging or when the package is opened by customs! Therefore, please clean and check the parts again immediately before installation!

ATTENTION: After engine damage, replacement of the oil cooler is mandatory. The use of oil coolers contaminated after engine damage will void any warranty. The engine must be run in according to the running-in instructions when starting up.
