JUBU gearbox cooling kit 2ZZ

for Elise S2/S3 (2ZZ) | Exige S2 | 2-Eleven

Exige S2, Elise S2 (Toyota 2ZZ), Elise S3 (2ZZ & 2ZR) as well as the 2-Eleven are not equipped with a dedicated OEM gearbox oil-cooling system. If you drive your car in a very sporty way on roads or use it for trackdays or racing, the gearbox oil temperatures tend to raise too high.

This leads to two major problems:

1. The gear oil gets too runny and the oil-film tends to rip off frequently for a short period of time - consequence: pitting on the gearbox internals and very high wear and tear that causes costly revisions within pretty short periods of time
2. Too high temperatures cause a reduced strength of the gearbox internals - consequence: higher risk of a breakdown of the gearbox unit

The JUBU gearbox cooling kit 2ZZ resolves this problem by using a water heat-exchanger and keeps the gearbox-oiltemperatures permanently in an optimal level. Wear and tear is reduced significantely, even so the risk of gearbox failures/brakedowns. Because of its connection to the engine cooling circuit, the JUBU gearbox cooling kit 2ZZ also helps the gearbox to reach its optimal operating temperature sooner on cold-starts.

The JUBU Gearbox-Cooling Kit, helps to maintain a permanentely optimal temperature of the gearbox and can reduce wear and tear as well as the risk of gearbox failures significantely.
