The gearbox oil cooler on the Lotus Emira V6 is factory-fitted to the intercooler system and is driven by it. This OEM setup causes unnecessarily high intercooler temperatures, thereby compromising engine performance and failing to cool the gearbox adequately, which leads to increased gearbox wear.

With the JUBU intercooler hose upgrade, the gearbox oil cooler is no longer driven by the intercooler system, but is integrated into the larger-capacity engine cooling circuit. This lowers the intercooler temperature, thereby significantly improving engine performance and gearbox oil cooling.

The 3 moulded silicone hoses of the JUBU upgrade are specially adapted to the Emira V6 engine bay (lengths, bends) and can therefore be installed quite easily. Authentic OEM look. A MUST-HAVE for track days or racing, as well as for sporty driving in regions with very warm climates! To unlock the full potential of the JUBU intercooler and gearbox cooling upgrade, installation of the JUBU 2GR-FE cooling upgrade is strongly recommended. The lower the engine coolant temperature, the better the gearbox can be cooled. A larger gearbox oil heat exchanger is only necessary for power outputs of 600 hp or more. We then fit this as part of a special cooling upgrade for the Emira 600 CS.
