The OEM gearbox-ratios of Elise- and Exige-models with 2ZZ engine are a little bit too long (ratio: 4.529:1). This (unnecessarily) restricts the potential sportiness of the engine/car. 

The JUBU short final drive 5.000:1 semi helical 2ZZ (Evo 3) resolves this design flaw by changing the ratio from 4.529:1 to 5.000:1 for all gears (gear 1-6). This leads to a much sportier response of the engine/car. With the shorter gear ratio, the car feels like you've added 20-30 hp to the engine (all this improvement without any engine tune).
