Despite its bulkheads and flaps in the oil pan, the Lotus OEM wet sump lubrication system quickly reaches its limits when the car is used for trackdays or racing purposes with high g-forces. The oil pressure tends to drop at high lateral or longitudinal accellerations during turns or on the brakes. The periodic loss of oil pressure (even if it's for fractions of a second) causes damages on the connecting rod bearings and finally leads to massive engine failures.  

The JUBU drysump lubrication system 2GR-FE gets rid of this problem and ensures a permanent stable and optimal oil pressure, even in high G-force environments (2g+ approved). Although the system is designed for race or track purposes, it is fully suitable for everyday use without any limitations.

For ambitious trackday driving or racing purposes, the JUBU drysump lubrication system is a must-have. It guarantees a stable lubrication - even under toughest conditions, it reduces revision cost and prevents you from costly engine failures.

Details

• 2-stage system (2 suction stages via external pump, 1 pressure stage via Toyota OEM pump). Benefit: with a 2-stage system it is possible to shut down the car controlled, savely and without any damage in case of the loss of the drive belt, because the oem pump can maintain the lubrication for a short period of time with the remaining oil in the dry sump tank.
