The original Lotus suspension joints on the rear axle are rather small. They cannot withstand the forces that occur during very sporty driving or track days (high grip level). They wear out quickly and can even be pushed out of the wheel upright at high load peaks and high temperatures (in older vehicles due to OEM bushes that have already been replaced several times during normal road use).

The JUBU upgrade uniball kit for the rear wheel upright permanently solves this problem on the Exige V6 and 3-Eleven. These are constructed from high-strength aluminium and an end stop (can no longer be pushed out) and are fitted on the inside with play-free Uniballs in motorsport quality (German manufacturer). This ensures safety on the one hand and a final and durable solution on the other.

The JUBU uniball kit can be used for the top and bottom of the wheel upright. Note the installation direction and force flow - see the JUBU Installation Manual.
