JUBU upgrade belt drive pulley kit 2GR-FE (Set)
The standard tensioning and idler pulleys of the Lotus V6 engine were originally designed for use in everyday Toyota models - and they are sufficiently robust for this. Due to their design, however, they are often unable to cope with the higher loads in the sports car environment and tend to tear at the fold of the deep-drawn pressed sheet metal part on Lotus V6 models. This in turn leads to annoying breakdowns (belt breaks) and, in the worst case, to damage to the cylinder head gasket due to the water pump no longer being driven.
The reinforced JUBU tensioning and idler pulleys eliminate this weak point. They are designed for very high continuous speeds thanks to their larger, more robust and high-strength bearings. A pressed sheet metal part (weak point) is not used in the JUBU rollers. This upgrade is recommended for all Lotus V6 models and is essential for trackday or racing use!
The reinforced JUBU tension and idler pulleys with more robust, high-strength bearings are designed for very high loads, but at the same time guarantee full suitability for everyday use. The Plug & Play upgrade kit can be easily replaced with the original tensioning and idler pulleys without any further modifications to the vehicle.
