Sperrdifferential Quaife
The Quaife limited slip differential is a differential lock that works according to the torsion principle.This means that the force is not transmitted via friction discs as with a multi-disc lock, but via spur or planetary gears with very large helix angles.

- However, use is only recommended in Caterhams that are used on the road, as the design of the worm gear limited slip differential is only suitable for long-term racing use to a limited extent

Tech-Tip
If you choose the optional installation of the LSD in your car at our HQ, we will check the status of your differential housing when opened. If there are signs of high wear and tear, we will inform you and can find an efficient solution for you to fix any issue of your differential housing.
